I will try > and fix it over the next couple of days. I managed to get 1.4.3 compiled using Fedora CVS, but I don't think the package is particularly stable. I had zero experience building RPMs before today, I'm more of a Debian person. It doesn't segfault on startup though and answers to queries. Upper limit seems to be a little less than 15000 qps according to resperf, but I haven't fine-tuned the configuration yet.
